MENU is Matt Shaw's directorial debut. An eleven minute short based upon his short story of the same name, found in 'Scribblings From a Dark Place'.
Starring Lee Bane and Sabrina Dickens, the film had a budget of £3000.00 and was shot in Hampshire over the course of three days.
Matt Shaw's end goal would be to create more films of a similar length to include on one DVD entitled 'A Can of Worms' - sick, short films in a similar style of the old television shows 'Tales from the Crypt' and, of course, 'Tales from the Darkside'.

Happy Ever After
Matt Shaw was raising the funds for 'Happy Ever After' on Kickstarter. The goal was £5,000 with some great perks. He was then going to put in an additional £5,000 himself to get to the necessary budget for his first feature.
He raised the funds but at the final hour, Kickstarter cancelled what they called a 'dodgy' pledge meaning the campaign failed.
With the screenplay written, a teaser trailer filmed, Matt Shaw hasn't given up on filming 'Happy Ever After' but it is definitely on the back-burner whilst he rethinks how best to proceed...

Two Girls, One Victim
Director Dan Brownlie approached Matt Shaw to write his entry to a faux-snuff film anthology. 'Two Girls, One Victim' was the result; a short film starring Emma Dark and Jessica Ann Brownlie.
Two versions of this story exist; the story which Dan Brownlie filmed (as per the script he asked Shaw to write) and a second version as published in the F*cked-Up Short called 'Snuff' (available on Amazon).
The reason for two versions was because Dan Brownlie wanted something closer to an actual snuff film - for purposes of the anthology - but Shaw preferred to release a second version with a few twists involved... After all, Matt Shaw is known for his twists and turns and everyone knows he can't resist them!
